Jacopo Checchucci

Jacopo Checchucci was a luthier operating from Livorno, Tuscany in Italy in the early 17th century. His surviving guitar dating to either 1623 or 1628 from the label, represents an early stage of the 5 course Baroque guitar being at the forefront of their evolution in both form and decoration.
